About the Clarendon Economic Development
Whether you're contemplating moving your family or your business, Clarendon extends a Texas-sized welcome and offers an Economic Development Corporation and experienced staff ready and willing to assist. Past projects have included façade grants to assist in revitalizing the downtown area, tax abatement facilitation, and job grants targeting primary job creation. Assistance varies on a case-by-case basis. The Clarendon EDC has a Type B status, allowing us to fund developing industries, while cultivating our community and improving the quality of life here in Clarendon.
