Les Beaux Arts Club of Clarendon, Texas presents the Clarendon Arts Festival the 4th weekend of October, Annually. We seek to present the largest possible variety of arts at the festival with emphases placed on quality. View and buy quality fine art and contemporary craft from juried fine artists, including our Emerging Artists area. Hear live music performed by local musicians. Les Beaux Arts Club Mac & Cheese Cook-off
October 24, 2015 * 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. * Donley County Activity Center, HWY 70 N.
The People’s Choice Award and a cash prize will be given to the cook that receives the most votes.
Join Us as a Participant!
Les Beaux Arts Club’s Mac & Cheese Cook-off is one of a kind – and we’re just getting warmed up! Join us this year for this event, as we plan for this to be family fun for all ages. All funds go towards the production of Clarendon Arts Festival.
Members of the public will be given voting tokens to vote for their favorite mac & cheese. The People’s Choice Award will be given to the cook that receives the most votes.
Sample Cups will be sold at the door (5 for $5) for the public tasting, starting at 11:00 a.m. til 3:00 p.m. on October 24, 2015. This is where you want to encourage friends, families, to come out and vote for you.
Entry fee is $25. Entry Dead Line is October 19th at noon. The People’s Choice Award and a cash prize will be given to the cook that receives the most votes. Registration is available by entry form (CLICK TO OPEN AND PRINT) or online BELOW or check out our Facebook page at Clarendon Arts Festival.
Creative twists on a culinary classic are welcome.
All cooks must prepare 4 quarts of prepared mac & cheese delivered to the Donley County Activity Center between 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. – October 24th, 2015. You must bring a copy of your recipe with you upon check –in; however, if you do not wish for your winning recipe to be published, the event organizer will honor this request. Each cook must provide warming tray and utensils to serve.
